57/365 The Elvers

Meet the Elvers's!!

While we were in Wisconsin we went to visit Mike and I's friends Matt, Terri, and their 5 kids! I love going over there, every time we are there Terri and I pick up like we've known each other forever. Our kids play exceptionally well together, and it's the one place I go with our tribe and don't feel like we are driving our guests insane with the masses of our family.

Matt and Mike met years ago when they worked together, Terri and I met when Mike and I got together but they've really been an amazing addition to my life especially. From similar parenting styles, to personalities it's just a great fit.

I had planned on taking more pictures than this, but was so caught up in just "catching up" that I only snapped a few. I did however get to snap their Christmas family picture. I was honored to be asked to do so.

Day 31 of 365 Thanksgiving Eve.

My in-laws are down and they brought Moses the 3-legged dog!

I must say I was worried because he's still a puppy, and a little hyper, but he's been really well behaved. I managed to get some pictures of him today.

Day 2 of 365. Cayman & Kendyl

Originally todays project was going to be of the first snow. However, I didn't get any good pictures due to poor lighting and by the time there was decent lighting the snow was all melted..so instead today I bring you Cayman, my mom's dog.

When I was little my grandparents had Dachshunds specifically I remember Raisin, an over-weight, red, short hair, miniature dachshund. I think out of all the dogs they had over the years that one was my favorite. There was another dachshund that they had at the same time as Raisin and heck if I can remember that ones name.

Back to Cayman, usually about 3 times a week we'll run over to my moms and let Cayman out to potty and play with him for a little while. Today I took the camera.
