I went out today and documented more of the flooding in our area.
Usually you see a road closed sign and water is covering part of the road. This road just disappeared. Once it went under the water I couldn't see where the road resurfaced. It was a really incredible site.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my post. We really should get together sometime and get lunch. I know we're a few miles apart, but I spend a fair amount of time in Valpo, so it wouldn't be much to go a little farther.
Love the pictures, by the way, hope you guys didn't have any problems at your house with all the extra water!
The flooding has definitely been a mess! I am ready for warmer weather and less rain, that's for sure.
Wow that is amazing. We have been hearing about the flooding on the news but it's more real in pictures that "non reporters" take. I hope everything works out.
I couldn't submit a photo this week. Our computer crashed and I am just now able to recover some photos on the external hard-drive. And i'm without Photoshop! Maybe next week :-)
Nice pictures, I hope you are still staying high and dry.
