I Heart Faces - Messy

This week over at I Heart Faces the theme is "Messy".

I admit these aren't my best submissions, but they are from when I first started taking photographs more often. This week I am just enjoying playing along.

Here is my kids submission for the week... While she doesn't look too messy here, I assure you there was watermelon juice EVERYWHERE! Can't you just smell that sweet sticky goodness?

My adult submission is from my husbands birthday party, we got into a bit of a frosting war.

Awwwwwwwwww. Really fun pictures : ). Frosting wars are as fun as can be! Love the watermelon picture. So perfect! You are right. I can't see the messiness yet, but I know it is coming!

As soon as I saw your husband's picture, I could feel his laughter. You guys were probably laughing so hard you couldn't really fight well!

I would call that more of a frosting tussle... what happened AFTER you put your camera down was probably the WAR. SWEET shot!

I love the picture of your husband! Those are the best when you can catch someone REALLY laughing! Great job!

I just noticed that you live very close to me. I also saw that you have a baby boy around the same age as mine. Mine is 7 months old. So much fun! =)

Your Kids photo is making me long for summer! And your Adult photo is just too much fun. Great entries for this week's theme. :)

What great pictures on both accounts. I love the innocence of the first and the playfulness of the second. Great job!

Those are really great pictures. The watermelon one is so beautiful. And the frosting war probably got pretty messy. Great shots!

I think these are perfect entries for this week. Kids and watermelon make for some cute photos. And a frosting war sounds so fun. Might have to try that with the kids this summer! Outside.
